Aggressive/Nippy - this comes from parents (and/or the bunny itself), that are/is neglected or has been mistreated. You won't find an aggressive bunny at my rabbitry (unless they are pregnant, of course.... ;) )
Knowing your bunny personality and natural instincts are the first step to develop a trust worthy, rich and healthy relationship.
How can I get to know my bunny's personality? Watch it, spend time with it, play with it. Ask the breeder or caretaker what it's personality is like. A reputable breeder will be honest, and since we spend the first 8 weeks AT THE LEAST with this bunny, we know how they behave to stressful situations, if they bite, or what their personality is like.
Rabbits that sit in a cage all day don't get much of a chance to show you their personality. Can you believe that? So to get a good hand on what your baby's personality is, let him run around outside or in your house, give him toys in his cage. Not only will be happy and healthy, but you will enjoy watching him play and exert himself! It's so rewarding.
