As of now, it looks like I won't be getting shed for another couple months; hopefully early in the new year that will happen! But currently with the space I have, even if I brought two more cages over, I'm at full capacity with the doe I'm bringing in next month. Yikes. I keep hoping I can hold out until I get my shed, and not have to part with any of these herd members until I get a little more from them, but it looks like I don't have a choice if I want to keep breeding my does in the next couple months.
As most of you know, Butterfly is pregnant and due in a little over a week. I also have three (soon to be four) more does that could be bred right now. But, because of my current lack of space, I am choosing to hold off on breeding any other rabbits until after Butterfly's litter is born, and I decide what to do next. I may need to sell some rabbits, or find a way to get more cages in my current space.
