Rabbit Sales Policy
These are live animals and very precious to me, therefore I reserve the right to cancel a sale at any time without offering any warning. Any money been invested in the rabbit (such as holding/reserving fees), before the cancelled sale will be refunded, at my discretion.
**NEW change in policies: we are no longer open to the general public. If you are *seriously* interested in purchasing a rabbit from me, you have purchased a rabbit from me, or I'm boarding your rabbit, than my rabbitry is open to you. If you just want to see what a rabbitry looks like or play with bunnies, I'm sorry but my rabbitry is closed to you. I just don't have time to visit with people that take no interest in buying a rabbit from me, or might endanger my rabbits or my family. The safety of my family and my rabbits is my top priority.
PRICES:
All prices subject to change without notice. Rabbits are priced on an individual basis based on their quality, faults and strengths.
Pet: $80-$100
Brood: $100 - $120
Show: $120 - $200
PICK UP:
~Rabbits can be picked up at our home in Everett, WA. Please bring a cardboard box or pet carrier (one that has not previously been used by dogs or cats), or show carrier, filled with hay, to come pick up your bunny. I will send out an email or text around your pick-up date reminding you to do this! The rabbit will prefer to be in a box on the way home, not in your lap.
~WE DO NOT SHIP OUR RABBITS.
~I can give free transport to any show that I am attending, however, the rabbit must be paid for in full prior to the show.
~I will occasionally be able to meet you halfway or somewhere within a reasonable distance for us within WA for you to pick up your bunny. Like stated above, the rabbit must be paid for IN FULL before the meeting date.
REGARDING TRANSPORTERS:
If a transporter is picking up the rabbit from us and caring for him en route to your house, there are a few policies in place.
~Rabbit must be paid for IN FULL at least ONE WEEK prior to pickup date.
~Rabbit's pedigree will be sent through email after the rabbit has been paid for in full, about ONE WEEK before pickup date. Pedigrees will not be given to transporters, ever.
~I am occasionally willing to meet transporters, however, I ask that before you inquire about a rabbit you discuss my location with the transporter and see if they can meet at my barn.
~DO NOT INQUIRE ABOUT A RABBIT UNTIL TRANSPORT IS ARRANGED. We often cannot hold a rabbit for you for a long enough time for you to find transport.
~We will send several bags of food with the rabbit and transporter, enough for the trip and a week to transition once you get the rabbit.
~All rabbits transported must have a tattoo. If, for whatever reason, you are getting transport for a pet, I will give it a tattoo even if it will never be shown.
~Once a rabbit has left my property with the transporter, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to the rabbit, such as sickness, death, or anything else, since we cannot control anything that occurs en route.
~If a rabbit must be sent back to me for whatever reason, buyer is responsible for finding transport back to me.
PAYMENT:
~We accept cash, money orders, cashier's check or Paypal (see our For Sale page), for deposits. If you are sending in a deposit in the mail, please do not send cash.
~WE DO NOT TAKE PERSONAL CHECKS.
~The rabbit must be paid for in full before it leaves our property.

REFUNDS:
~If within TWO WEEKS of bringing your rabbit home and you discover that you have allergies to the bunny or hay, we will give you a full refund. We will also gladly take the rabbit back. THIS IS THE ONLY CIRCUMSTANCE IN WHICH WE WILL GIVE YOU A REFUND UPON TAKING THE RABBIT BACK.
~I provide each rabbit that leaves my rabbitry with a 72hr health guarantee. If a rabbit gets sick within 72hrs and it's not due to over handling, the elements, a child or pet, or feeding something not recommended in a rabbit's diet, I will take the rabbit back and replace it with another one of equal value of your choice as soon as one becomes available.
~If you can no longer keep your rabbit for whatever reason, please contact me first. We will take it back and place it in a new home. We will also need the cage, as our space is limited. This will also help with the search of finding new owners.
~We will almost ALWAYS be open to taking a rabbit of ours back or aid you in finding new owners (if you wish). This is at NO COST to you, and we won't even ask questions!
QUALITY:
Show: Show quality means I believe the rabbit has no disqualifications. Most of our show quality babies will be 4 months of age or older. Just because a rabbit is listed as show quality, does not mean that it will produce show winners or be a show winner, we just believe it has the potential to.
Brood: Brood rabbits will frequently be available, we try to minimize how many broods we keep. Brood rabbits are those that may be overweight, or have a DQ (that is not hereditary), but still has good genetics and nice qualities to pass on to offspring.
Just because a rabbit is listed as brood doesn't mean that it WILL produce or produce quality. If we have bred the rabbit before, we can give you a better estimation of what you are likely to produce from that rabbit.
Pet: Rabbits listed as pet quality are those that could make a fantastic pet, but have serious faults or DQs. All pet quality rabbits are friendly and have amazing personalities. Pets do not come with a pedigree, please do not ask. Pets can come with a birth certificate upon request.

HOLDING:
ALL RABBITS ARE SOLD ON A FIRST COME/FIRST SERVED BASIS UNLESS A RABBIT IS PUT ON HOLD OR RESERVED. IF A RABBIT IS PUT ON HOLD OR RESERVED, IT WILL NO LONGER BE FOR SALE. JUST BECAUSE YOU INQUIRED DOES NOT MEAN IT IS ON HOLD. PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE WE CONSIDER A RABBIT ON HOLD. ONCE FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE, THE RABBIT IS SOLD.
~Rabbits cannot be reserved before they are born, or before 6-8 weeks, EVER.
~To reserve a rabbit, you will pay a $20 deposit fee (this is non-refundable). The rabbit will be held for up to two weeks before a pick up date must be set. If you cannot pick up the rabbit within 2 weeks, the rabbit's price must be paid for IN FULL to remain holding the rabbit until you pick it up. Some exceptions apply.
~If you back out of the sale after having a rabbit on hold, the payment will be forfeited. If Holly's Hollands Rabbitry ever cancels a sale for any reason, the payment will be refunded at our discretion.
~If something uncontrollable happens to your rabbit while on hold, your payment can be refunded or you can apply the payment to another rabbit of your choice, as one becomes available.
GUARANTEES:
~We will NEVER sell a baby bunny under the age of 8 weeks. There are no exceptions! Often we will keep a rabbit to watch it mature until it is around 16 weeks (4 months), so we can evaluate its true show potential. Older baby bunnies make just as sweet pets and actually litter train easier.
~We guarantee that at the time of sale the rabbit has no form of malocclusion (misaligned teeth).
~We will not sell a rabbit that has ever shown aggressive behavior here as a pet.
~We would never sell an unhealthy rabbit from our rabbitry. All rabbits are guaranteed to be healthy at the time of sale.
~We do not guarantee the rabbit will win, or even place, in a show because of the tough competition in the Holland Lop breed. We do not guarantee the fertility of your rabbit or how well it will do in a breeding program. These things are unpredictable. However, we breed for does that are excellent mothers, so we do our best to sell brood does that we know will make good mothers based on their mothering history.
~We do our best to make sure that if a rabbit is priced as show, it is free of disqualifications. However, we may occasionally miss something. We encourage you to look the rabbit over before you leave. We would never want you to leave with something you didn't want.
~We do not guarantee the personality of the rabbit after they are 5 months old. As the rabbit reaches 6 months old, it will be reaching maturity, and, somewhat like teenagers, hormones can make some rabbits do crazy things! Spaying or neutering generally will calm your hormonal rabbit down and will return it to your happy, friendly pet. Bucks are generally calmer then females when they reach sexual maturity. We do our best to socialize each and every bunny, but each one has its own unique personality, and some are not lap bunnies.
HEALTH GUARANTEE:
~I provide each rabbit that leaves my rabbitry with a 72hr health guarantee. If a rabbit gets sick within 72hrs and it's not due to over handling, the elements, a child or pet, or feeding something not recommended in a rabbit's diet, I will take the rabbit back and give you another one of equal value of your choice as soon as one becomes available.
~I reserve the right to refuse giving you the replacement rabbit if I feel it's in the best interest of the rabbit. No exceptions.
~I will not put a rabbit up for sale if I believe it is not in perfect health or if it is unfit for sale.
~When a rabbit is sold or put up for sale, I believe it to be in the best health to the best of my knowledge. All unhealthy rabbits are not listed for sale and are separated from the rest of the herd, as to not contaminate the rest of the herd. We work to try and treat every sick animal in our care.
To New Pet Owners:
We encourage you to talk with the whole family about the bunny and take time to do your research by either reading books/articles online, watching movies, or emailing and asking me before even INQUIRING about a bunny. Rabbits are not an animal that should be purchased on impulse.
I highly encourage you to contact me with any questions before and after the sale is finalized. No questions are too silly or absurd.
I will provide each rabbit with a pedigree (if applicable), a care sheet, and baggie of transition feed. Pets can also get a personalized birth certificate upon request!
Feel free to email me any time to tell me how your rabbit is doing or with any questions whatsoever. I love hearing about the bunnies that I sell. I also love to see pictures of them in their new home or with their new loving owners!
This sales policy is subject to change without notice. Please read thoroughly before inquiring about a rabbit. Thank you.
