About My Rabbitry
I strive to improve the development and type of my favorite breed, the Holland Lop, as well as inform and educate prospective bunny buyers or new rabbit owners. Raising and breeding Holland Lop rabbits are my hobby and passion. I'm working towards producing show-quality stock with amazing temperaments and family-friendly personalities, as well as good mothering instincts.
We are currently working towards developing the Holly's Hollands line in producing rabbits we are proud of, that have amazing type and describe the Standard of Perfection.
I am working on agouti/wide band and self projects currently, since chestnut, chinchilla, orange, black, blue and cream are some of my favorite colors in Holland Lops.
My #1 goal is to improve type, but you can do that and work on a fun color as long as you invest in some really nice stock and breed and cull wisely!
I currently own and enjoy a 20-hole rabbitry in a small shed, with full lighting and incredible ventiliation, keeping it cool in the summer. This small number of holes has kept me very picky and has really helped to increase the quality of my herd, rather than quantity.
I absolutely adore all the rabbits I have ever had the privilege of owning, growing, and loving. I love all my "babies", whether they are adults or newborns! Any junior or senior that leaves my home is still held close to my heart and always welcomed back home with open arms.
Our rabbits are handled daily and frequently get running around time outside their cages. We will always have a small rabbitry so we can focus on taking care of each individual rabbit and baby bunny. When you come into the rabbitry, you'll be greeted by our little furry family that will race to the cage door to see you!
