Saige's litter is 3 weeks old now! At first I thought they were all tort otters but after doing some research, I discovered that they are oranges and a cream! I was confused on the oranges because the color is very smutty. It looks shaded on part of their body. But it is definitely orange fur. These two babies (the oranges) will be sold eventually because of their poor coloration. If the cream is a doe, or a super nice buck, I might watch him/her for a while.
Rosie's litter is 8 weeks old now and has been weaned. Snickerdoodle went to his new home yesterday. Surprisingly, Blizzard and Pumpkin Spice (who I decided to sell), are still available. It's really mind boggling! They are so sweet and friendly! I'm not complaining though. I like having them around. They are such sweeties and get so excited to see me whenever I go into the rabbitry.
Twice a week I will be uploading videos to my Youtube channel! Tuesdays I will be uploading a herd update (if there are no updates from the week before it'll just be a cute video of babies!), and Thursdays will be informational, how-to videos. I have done several so far so go check it out (click on the purple link above) and subscribe for the latest updates!
Holly's Butterfly is hopefully pregnant! She is due at the end of the month and I'm so excited for these babies! Wicket is the sire.
Zuzu will be bred soon with Ty, on the same day as Rosie (probably to Wicket). That way Rosie can foster if Zuzu ends up being a bad mom like her mom.
My new doe (more details below), will be bred in a few weeks. She has had a very stressful month so she needs a while to adjust.
Muddy Creek's Maybeline is home! She is absolutely gorgeous! I'm so excited about her. On the next sunny(ish) day I will do her herd photos and make a new blog with more details about her.
Another new doe, Angus, is coming from my friend Katelyn at Lucky Charm Lops. She's gorgeous as well and produces awesome bone, so I'm so excited to add her to the herd.
