Life is full of waiting. But it seems like in the rabbit breeding hobby, the thing you are doing most is waiting.
Waiting for shows, babies to pop out of the nestbox, hoping and praying they will make it to weaning, waiting until they are the showable size (2lbs), waiting for nice juniors, waiting for the nice juniors to become amazing seniors, waiting for your first litter from that amazing senior....the waiting is endless. With every new baby, every new pregnancy, every litter.
I have a new litter on the way, and each week feels so long.....luckily there are only 4 weeks in a rabbit pregnancy!
We are on day 13 and so far everything seems to be going great. If she's like her mama, Cinnamon will start trying to nest and pulling fur at around 22 days if she's pregnant, like her mom did. All we can do now is WAIT and see!
