My spring quarter will be a lot more relaxed than winter quarter has been, so hopefully you will see more of me on the blog, website, and my social medias.
Here are some updates, since it's been such a long time.
Babies -
Angie's babies are doing fantastic!! I don't know if I've updated the blog (with an update) since Zuzu's kit passed, but it was eaten by a rat and so since then, they have been inside until the rats are all dead. We are going to be setting poison out soon, and then it should only take a week for all of them to be gone.
I still only have one little junior, and she will be 15 weeks old tomorrow on the 12th. Holly's Clementine has a bright future here, and I'm continually blown away by how well she's maturing!! Her orange color is so bright and rich, with no signs of smut! I love her head, body, ears, crown...the list goes on and on. Only things I wish I could fix are her long front legs and weak ankles. I can't wait to show her again, at our next show in May she will be almost 6mos so she should do well!
My next show is in the beginning of May, and this is the beginning of my busiest show season. I will be bringing Butterfly, Clementine, and Rosie and Saige (if I still have them), as well as any of Angie's kits that make weight. Of course this is just a tentative list - who knows what could happen before then!
Breedings -
Pretty soon I will be breeding Ty to May and Zuzu. I was going to do it today while it was nice - and then it started raining so terribly. I need to do it soon, poor Zuzu wants babies and May hasn't been bred for a while. Probably over spring break next week I will breed them, or whenever it's sunny and nice again.
