~Toilet Paper Tubes - my favorite! In a family of 7, we always have enough of these to give a new one to the bunnies every day.
~Pinecones
~Blocks of wood (untreated hardwood, ceder and pine are poisonous to rabbits) - helps keep the back teeth at the proper length.
~Fruit Tree Branches - for only rabbits 6mos old and older
~Hay Stuffed into a Toilet Paper Tube - fun for on-the-go, if you need to keep the hay more contained, or just for a fun mind stimulant. +
Rabbit front teeth shouldn't ever need to be worn down. It's pretty much genetics if they start to get too long and need to be clipped. However, a bored bunny can start to chew on the cage bars and mess up his teeth.
Providing hay and blocks of wood help the back teeth stay trim and short.
