Am I Ready for a Rabbit?
Are you patient?
A. Yes. Patience is one of my strong suits.
B. I could stand to be a little more patient.
C. No. One little waiting game sets me off!
Do you have a love for learning and watching the behavior of a new species?
A. Yes. I could just spend hours watching an animal and love learning more about them.
B. I like to watch animals, but if I had a choice between something else, I'd probably pick something else.
C. Not really. Animals are boring.
Do you spend a lot of time at home?
A. I am homeschooled/a homeschool parent/don't work/work from home, (ect.), so I spend a lot of time at home.
B. I work/go to school during the day, but spend most mornings/nights at home.
C. Sometimes I forget I have a home.
How much room do you have to give your rabbit(s)?
A. Lots of room. A whole bunny room/whole house will be at the rabbit's disposal (house rabbit).
B. I have room for a big cage for the bunny (indoors/outdoors rabbit).
C. Not very much. I live in a small one-room apartment.
Do you have other animals?
A. No. The rabbit will be my only pet, I am prepared to spoil it!
B. One cat/dog/fish/hamster/guinea pig/ect.
C. Yes. My house is practically a zoo.
Have you owned rabbits before?
A. Yes or No, but I'm excited to add one to my family!
B. No
C. Eh, I didn't care about them until I saw a cute bunny advertised as an Easter present. Now I want one!
Are all the members of the family prepared for the new bunny?
A. Yes. We are all so excited and know that the rabbit will mean some changes around here.
B. We're prepared but some family members don't really care.
C. It's a work in progress....
Do you have allergies?
A. Nope!
B. Mild weather/food related allergies.
C. I'm hoping rabbits are an animal I'm not allergic too. I'm allergic to every other animal.
Are there young children at home?
A. No, or Yes, but they are very well-behaved and will not be left unattended with the bunny
B. They don't consider themselves young. But I do.
C. You mean the two circling my legs and yelling constantly?? If so, then yes.
If you have a lot of time to spend with your children and teach them about proper rabbit care and proper rabbit handling, young children shouldn't be a problem.
What do you expect from your rabbit?
A. I have studied up on rabbits and I know what to expect.
B. I'm learning....and willing to learn as I go.
C. Aren't rabbits just like a guinea pig?
When are you planning on getting a rabbit?
A. As soon as we're all the way ready and have researched everything we need to know.
B. Sometime in the summer/winter/fall/spring
C. As soon as possible! For Easter, Christmas, a birthday!
Where are you planning on getting your rabbit?
A. A reputable breeder or rabbit rescue.
B. A place recommended by a friend.
C. The pet store across the way.

You should do a LOT more research, ask around, and prepare better. Rabbits are not an animal that should be purchasesd on impulse.
